Arrived very early, 9:30 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m. appointment. Went to cafeteria sat and talked, went out to put more money in parking meter. 10:30 am registered at window and had a seat. 10:55 our name was called and was greeted by the officer and escorted to her office. My wife was nervous and wanted her friend as an interpreter to join us if needed, I didn't think we needed her but my wife insisted. The officer asked for id's and her friend didn't bring anything, not even her drivers license (duh) so she wasn't allowed in. We were asked if we wanted an interpreter I said I don't think we need one and that I could interpret if needed, the officer said fine and had me sign a form. We were sworn in and she began verifying info on our application. I had all supporting docs in color coded folders with contents labeled on the outside. Any thing she asked for was in her hands in seconds and was very happy to see how organized everything was. She asked to see bank statements, pay stubs, employ... read complete review

Arrived about 30 minutes early. The main entrance to the building was having some construction done that day so everyone was lined up at a side door, outside, in the rain. Once inside, we passed our appointment letter through the window and took a seat. There were probably 40 or 50 seats, almost all were full except the 3 broken chairs. Aproximatly 45 minutes after our scheduled time we were called and followed the interviewing officer to his desk, were sworn in and had a seat. We provided some requested documentation, the officed did not look at any photo's. After some small shcat he seemed satisified and took her I94 from her passport. He told us unfortunatly that there were no fingerprints in her file and he woudl schedule them ASAP. We received a finger print appointment a week later and received approval aproximatly 2 months after the appointment.

we arrived on time and waited for maybe 15 minutes to be called into the office by the AOS Interviewer and she swore us in to tell the truth. She invited us to sit and started asking all the basic questions listed in the declaration on the I-485 form. We had to sign one or two documents as I was represented by a lawyer but he was not present so that required a form to be signed acknowledging that fact. She had a very pleasent nature and her manner helped us relax considerably. Questions about our relationship ranged from how it begun to what stage we are at now and whats happening in our lives ie., buying a house, my seeking work, how am I enjoying living in the USA. She asked for some confirmations of my wifes submissions on the Sponsorship form, tax forms etc., for the past 4 years, letter from employer, that kind of thing then she asked about photos of our wedding. She went out of the room briefly and returned once again sitting down and then handed me my passport which had the form... read complete review
