Office doors opened at 7:30am. We were the last ones through the metal detectors, but the first people called for our 7:50am appointment. Extremely easy interview because we were very honest about our case and submitted a timeline upfront. Our officer had already reviewed our case and knew what to expect from us. He asked my husband details about my family, and asked me details about my husbands family. He asked us what documents we had for him, so we gave him our I-693, proof of joint income (through bank statements with both names) and some pictures of us (history, travel, wedding, etc.) we had printed on printer paper. He asked my husband a series of the standard questions, and approved us on the spot. He told us he would start the process for creating the green card the same day. We were out the door and on the road again by 8:30am.

This is a small but friendly field office. We had to wait about 15 minutes past our interview time which was kind of expected. Our officer was friendly and joked a lot with us. As our case was straight forward, he did not ask for any of the evidence we had brought. It seemed to just be a formality where he had to ask us the questions that we'd answered on the I-485 such as have you ever been involved in a group that wanted to overthrow the government, have you ever been involved in human trafficking or related to anyone involved in it, have you ever laundered money, and other such things. He approved us on the spot and said we would get the card in a couple of weeks.

The interviewer asked why we were there. The interviewer did not ask any other questions about our relationship. We have a child together, so that could be the reason and we provided pictures of our relationship with dates from 4-5 years prior from Instagram, dates that can’t be changed. It was a very easy & smooth interview.

We arrived at 11:55am for our 12:25 interview and we were called in at about 12:37. The gentlemen didn't smile or anything and led us to a room
and promptly asked whether she could speak English. She stated a little bit, and he said well you are going to need to speak English well so you
can understand and answer or I cannot approve. He said do you need an interpreter? She said yes she does, so he called on the phone and got her a Thai
interpreter. The rest of the interview consisted of him going page by page through the I-485 and asking questions based on that to her. At the end after
the interpreter hung up, he asked her about her plans for the future and then asked me if I had any more evidence. I told him I don't have a lot but some more pictures
and this bank statement with both of our names. He then asked about our engagement and wedding and such. Then he told us we were approved and he would cancel the EAD and
early parole sin... read complete review
