Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We arrived at 11:55am for our 12:25 interview and we were called in at about 12:37. The gentlemen didn't smile or anything and led us to a room
and promptly asked whether she could speak English. She stated a little bit, and he said well you are going to need to speak English well so you
can understand and answer or I cannot approve. He said do you need an interpreter? She said yes she does, so he called on the phone and got her a Thai
interpreter. The rest of the interview consisted of him going page by page through the I-485 and asking questions based on that to her. At the end after
the interpreter hung up, he asked her about her plans for the future and then asked me if I had any more evidence. I told him I don't have a lot but some more pictures
and this bank statement with both of our names. He then asked about our engagement and wedding and such. Then he told us we were approved and he would cancel the EAD and
early parole since she would have her green card in a couple of weeks. Overall .. a very tough and thorough interview but I appreciate him offering the interpreter because
it helped tremendously.
