Office was not difficult to find. Inside, we were greeted, and went through the metal detectors, and our belongings were x-ray scanned. We went in and checked in. They called us, and made us go into another waiting room. Both were not crowded. We waited about fifteen to twenty minutes, after our number was called. The IO was very friendly, and asked us basically if we had any new documents, and I provided new tax documents, as well as photos/posts of the marriage. The only questions asked were about my spouse's full name, my parents' names, and the questions completed on the form. She then handed us a white temporary approval paper and told us to continue gathering evidence for ROC. She was very friendly, and we were at ease. ðŸ˜

We arrived 30min prior to our appointment.
We went through the security check. The guys at the security were very friendly.
We gave our interview letter and waited 10 minutes in a room before going to another room.
Once in the second room, we waited 5 minutes before being called by the officer in charge of our case. She introduces herself and she was very friendly and smiling. We followed her in her office.
She started by the oath and then asked our passports and IDs. She read through the form I-485 and ask me (the petitioner) my name, my wife’s name, my birthday, my wife’s birthday, our address, what was my work in Switzerland, where we get married, when we met each other, where we met each other, and if my signature on the form was my signature. She asked my wife if she was born abroad. After that she started to ask me the “Yes/No†questions and pick probably 20 questions from the form. She asked me if I came on a ... read complete review

My interview was scheduled for 03/08/18 for 12:45. I arrived at the Charlotte USCIS office at 12:15. There was no one at the security line, took me maybe a few minutes to get through. I had to remove my belt, shoes and anything in my pockets. The guards were extremely nice and wished me best of luck
I went into the waiting room and provided my interview letter to one of the officers behind the first counter. She took the interview letter and told me to have a ... read complete review

I had my N400 interview today 11/27/2017 at Charlotte office @8 AM. Officer started with Civic Tests and asked
1.National Anthem
2.Who can vote
3.Ocean at West Coast
4.What is rule of law
5.13 strips in the flag?
6.(Forgot)
Asked me to read 'How many senators in the US Congress' and asked me to write ' There are 100 senators in the Congress' All good. Passed the exam and regular yes/no questions. The officer is very nice and asked me to check the info on iPad for a certificate of the oath and He said 'He will recommend for approval'. Also, the officer asked me to wait to get oath info. After 15 minutes wait time another officer called 3 applicants including me and handover the oath scheduled document and oath has been scheduled for 11/30/2017 at the same (filed office) location.
It all took 1 hour and we are so happy to get the oath details and same time I got a couple of message and emails saying the Inlin... read complete review

The Charlotte field office is clean and bright inside. There is ample seating and a TV with the news on. The staff are very professional and friendly. You are required to remove belt and shoes and go through an x-ray before entering (similar to the airport). You then go into a large waiting room and check in at the first window on the left by handing in your letter with the interview date/time on it. You check in with her, and she calls you back up in a few minutes with a number stapled to your letter. The interviewing officer then come through the main door to call you up by your number. Sorry, but spouses cannot go with you (I brought a paperback to read while I waited). They introduce themselves to you and bring you back to a private office.
My husband brought the letter, his greencard and my US birth certificate, and our marriage license. He brought other documents but no others were needed. The officer went over the Yes/No questions from the form, then conducted th... read complete review
