We had our i-485 interview at the Boston office. We chose to take an Uber, since that area is impossible for parking. I recommend an Uber or public transportation, if possible.
When we arrived we were waiting in the large waiting area where they shout out applicants' names based on who is going in for an interview. This was a little bit chaotic. For us, my husband (USC) was interviewed alone at first and then they invited me in, I gave an oath and they asked me the same questions to see if our answers matched. They also went over some items on the i-485 form. At the end they asked if I want to submit any additional evidence, but it's not required. I gave copies of our joint health insurance, joint bank account, joint phone plan. They told us at the interview that we are approved and should receive the card in the mail in 2-3 weeks.
My friend has a wedding in Europe in two weeks and I asked if there is any temporary document they can give me if the physical card doesn't a... read complete review

The interview was actually held in Lawrence, Ma but the office is not listed.
Husband and I arrived 15 minutes early for our 1030 appointment.
Most people in the room that were called before us got separated (applicant first, petitioner second) so when we got called after almost an hour late thats what we expected but the agent said my husband could come with me.
After I took the oath, a picture and fingerprints, the agent basically told us that the legitimacy of our relationship had already been approved and that the interview was just to make sure I was admissible to the AOS so the interview consisted of just going over the 1-485 application yes/no questions and that was it! No questions at all. She then asked us if we wanted to add evidences to our case even though it was not necessary but she said it could be good for the removal of conditions in 2 years so I added a few joint bills and that was it! She said she was approving my case and she would mak... read complete review

Took about 20 minutes total. I recommend sitting close to the reception desk so that you can more easily hear the immigration officers call your name.
My experience mirrors those of most reviewers. The immigration officer came out and called my husband's name. He greeted us warmly and had me (the US citizen) come with him to his office first while my spouse remained in the waiting area. He asked me various straightforward questions about him: full name, date of birth, parents names, where we met, how long we've lived together, etc. He then brought my husband back to join us and asked him pretty much the same questions. I recommend making sure you know things like your exact wedding date, birth dates and such before going for the interview. Everything went well and he told us we should find out the result in 2-3 weeks but didn't see anything that should prevent a successful outcome. And that was that. I was very nervous beforehand but in the end it wasn't that big of a de... read complete review

Entire process took about 30 minutes. Officer separated us and questioned me (US citizen) for about 10 minutes, and my wife (green card applicant) for another 20 minutes. Stated that she should receive her card in about 2 weeks after the interview.
