We arrived 20 min early, at the entrance we give our interview notice and the girl told us that they we would be called by name. At the exact interview time a woman called our name and told us that she wasn't going to separate us and it was our lucky day. After enter the office she confess that she already saw us and understood that we were a real couple! She make us tell our story, really a conversation more than an interview. She then ask me again all the questions at the end of I-485, updated my files and that's it! nice and sweet javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')

Interview went really well. It started almost on time. And Interviewer was really friendly and nice. It was more like a conversation than interview. Interviewer asked us few questions about how our relationships started. How they were developing and what are we doing/where we live now. Plus interviewer also checked documents which we brought. In total it took 15-20 minutes.

Amazing experience. We were both in the office at the same time for the interview, not separated. The officer asked us to swear that we're telling the truth. The interview itself was lighthearted.
Questions (either asked to me or him):
1. Why are the two of you in Boston?
2. What's your husband's mother's name? What does she do?
3. What's your husband's father's name? What does he do?
4. What's your husband's brother's name? What does he do?
5. What's your husband's sister's name?
6. Where does your wife work?
7. How many times has she been married?
8. Have you voted while in the US?
9. Have you committed genocide, so on so forth...? (The officer was a little jokey in the way he asked some of these questions, which almost made me laugh, I gotta say! But thankfully, I kept a straight face and answered without cracking up.) ... read complete review

We arrived at the JFK Federal Building a half hour before our appointment time. We were directed to a window to hand in the Appointment Notice, and the gentleman at the window said someone would be with us fairly soon. At exactly our appointment time (11:45 AM), the same gentleman as before ("Officer Dana") called out my name (the petitioner), and took both us to his office, together. When I asked if my husband should come with me (because I had read that often they interview the couple separately) he just joked, "If he's the husband, then yes!"
We were both put under oath, and my fingerprints and photo were taken. Officer Dana asked me how I met my husband, and then just asked us if we were happy and "how it's going." I told him I was happy, and that we loved our little apartment in the North End, our jobs, our friends, and each other. Then we spoke a bit about rent (he was moving soon and wanted to compare experiences) and he remarked that I spoke English perfectly. H... read complete review
