Interview date: 13 June
Green card delivered: 19 June
Amazing experience. We were both in the office at the same time for the interview, not separated. The officer asked us to swear that we're telling the truth. The interview itself was lighthearted.
Questions (either asked to me or him):
1. Why are the two of you in Boston?
2. What's your husband's mother's name? What does she do?
3. What's your husband's father's name? What does he do?
4. What's your husband's brother's name? What does he do?
5. What's your husband's sister's name?
6. Where does your wife work?
7. How many times has she been married?
8. Have you voted while in the US?
9. Have you committed genocide, so on so forth...? (The officer was a little jokey in the way he asked some of these questions, which almost made me laugh, I gotta say! But thankfully, I kept a straight face and answered without cracking up.)
10. Do you have any additional evidence of your relationship? (I showed him a lease with our names on it and a photo album of 5 photos: courthouse wedding, us cutting a wedding cake, us on our honeymoon, us on a snow day, us with family at a restaurant.)
11. Do you want me to use the green or red stamp? (Ha ha ha, the answer is green!!!)
