We arrived very early to the JFK building in Boston - our appointment was for 11:30AM - parked at the Government Center Garage which cost a fortune ($38 for 2 hours) but it was very convenient as it was right next to the JFK building.

We finished with security in 10 minutes, and proceeded to the area where there is a waiting room for InfoPass and interviews (just follow the signs, takes 2 minutes to get there from ... read complete review

Had our interview today. Arrived at 10:00 for a 10:30 appointment and was called in at 10:35. IO came out and called petitioner's name and took us back to her office. We were put under oath, and then she asked both of us our full names and birthdays. She took my husband's fingerprints and picture (he's the petitioner) . Then she asked me what my husband's full name is and his birthday. Then she asked my husband for my birthday and full name.Which felt weird because we just stated these by ourselves only minutes before, in front of one another. She wanted to see my husband's birth certificate, I think because that's why we had an RFE (although I know for SURE we put his birth certificate in the original package). Swedish birth certificates are basically print outs from their version of the IRS so they don't look very formal.

She went through the i485 with my husband (all the yes/no about being a terrorist, belonging to a terrorist group, etc.) She then asked us o... read complete review

Our AOS interview was on August 30th 2017 at 9:30 am at the Boston office in JFK building. First of all, both Apple and Google maps on my phone kept pointing us to other buildings, so it took us some time to find the correct one. The entrance is through the low-rize building - if your maps point you to the hi-rize it's OK, there's a sign that redirects you to the public entrance.

I was aiming at getting there 30 minutes earlier. You need to keep in mind that there might be at least two lines to wait in - the security line and then the line at the reception. As you enter the building, the signage for the interview section is immediately to your right, past the Infopass kiosks. You'll still need to go straight through the security and then circle back to the hall. The security guards were very nice and joking. They were fine with us bringing in our phones and even my husband's vape.

The reception has two separate lines, each clearly marked (although people k... read complete review

I had my interview on September 6th, 2017 for AOS.

We arrived there around 1:30 for the 2:30 interview, and they called my name (more like somehow found us in the waiting room and asked me directly if I were so and so) around 2:30.

We basically went through the I-485, the officer asked me and my husband almost all the questions I believe. I was asked his full name, birth date, his phone number, our current address, where and how we met, when and how we get engaged, what he does for a living and how long he has been at his current job. He was asked my birth date, phone number, my parents' names, my birth place. She also asked me all the yes/no questions in rapid succession, so fast that I almost had trouble keeping up (later she admitted to her supervisor outside that she has had a bit too much sugar that day). We did fumble a little, and messed up a couple of details but it was mostly nervousness and she seemed to understand.

At the end she ... read complete review

My husband and I attended my AOS interview on Friday 28th July at the JFK Federal Building. The appointment was at 10.45am however, it was reasonably quiet there and we were called in 15 minutes early. We were interviewed by Officer Walker who incredibly polite and professional. In fact, everyone we encountered there was kind and professional - from the security guards to the receptionist.

We had a very conversational interview with the IO. He checked my passport and marriage certificate only. He asked me to confirm my address and answer the Yes/No questions from the I-485 form. He took my photograph and fingerprints. As we have provided plenty of good evidence with the AOS application, he did not ask to see any of the evidence I bought in. We were finished in about 10-15 minutes and walked away approved.

If you're thinking of driving in and parking - go to https://spothero.com and reserve parking at the Government Centr... read complete review
