Atlanta Interview Review:
January 15, 2009 10:00AM
So after much nagging the and not much sleep the night before we left an hour early, it surprisingly only took 15 minutes. The Security line was HUGE so we got through and followed the information on the Interview notice to go to the 3rd floor. We waited for about 45 minutes for our name to be called and in the meantime started talking to the couple behind us and she said that we had to check in on the second floor. I PANICKED BAD! It was already 10 past 10 and I knew our name would be called. I flipped out so my husband and I went downstairs stated our case; she didn’t do anything except to tell us to go back upstairs. We go back up 2 minutes later and Guess what? Our names had been called while we left to go “Check in”! I was pissed off! It was a very good interview. The officer asked us some questions and then asked Hassan some questions and gave us approval and stamped his passport. In all it took maybe 30 minutes. The greencard came soon afterwards.
Atlanta has been good to us.

Interview was scheduled for 9:30am today, but we didn't get called until 10:15am. No problem, they had TVs showing CNN. We were a bit worried because we were a young couple, and my wife had to transfer to a school in Missouri, and I had just graduated and was moving to ATL for work, so we didn't share the same address. Also, we just got married last May, so we didn't have any assets in our name apart from joint checking and savings accounts.
After swearing us in, she asked us the usual questions (arrests, communist, prositution etc), then took a look through our photo album that we had placed on the table (we had all the pictures in chronological order with notes under each describing date/place/people). Next, she scanned through the documents, asked us if we had any more supporting evidence, and we provided her with the joint bank statements, place tickets and phone bills with calls between us highlighted. With this,... read complete review
