This is my interview experience:
Interview was scheduled for 9:30am today, but we didn't get called until 10:15am. No problem, they had TVs showing CNN. We were a bit worried because we were a young couple, and my wife had to transfer to a school in Missouri, and I had just graduated and was moving to ATL for work, so we didn't share the same address. Also, we just got married last May, so we didn't have any assets in our name apart from joint checking and savings accounts.
After swearing us in, she asked us the usual questions (arrests, communist, prositution etc), then took a look through our photo album that we had placed on the table (we had all the pictures in chronological order with notes under each describing date/place/people). Next, she scanned through the documents, asked us if we had any more supporting evidence, and we provided her with the joint bank statements, place tickets and phone bills with calls between us highlighted. With this, she was satisfied that our marriage was bona fide, and began the "Welcome to America" speech. All in all, a good experience. As long as you are organized, you should be fine.
