After being given a ticket I went to the first window to give my documents. In addition to the documents listed, they also asked for my petitioner's IRS transcripts, the actual DS-260 application and this year's tax return.
Due to the fact that my case had been transferred, I needed to sit back down and wait for the files to be transferred again or uploaded to their system. After a 45 minute wait, everything was fine.
I then was called to the interview window, made an oath and the lady asked me;
Where did you meet your husband?
Where will you move to?
Where is your husband now?
Then that was it! I was in the embassy for about 1hr45!

Arrived and went through security, very similar to airport security. I was asked to open an app on my phone to check that it is real. I was also asked to take a sip from the drink that I brought.
Got to the reception 25 mins earlier than my appointment. I waited 10 minutes and then was assigned a number and told to take the elevator up.
I was then directed to where I needed to sit down, waited 30 mins before my number was called. They asked for my passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate, and scanned the passport photo that I brought. They also asked for my marriage licence because I had uploaded this to CEAC as well. I scanned fingerprints, gave me a print out of what rights I have as an immigrant if I was a victim to domestic violence, and I was asked to sit back down.
My number was called again after 10 minutes. Took an oath and was asked the following questions:

Stayed at the Travelodge and got an Uber to the embassy as it was raining and there is so much building work, it's tricky walking there.
Started queuing and realised we were in the wrong one as we just did the sheep thing and followed the crowd 🙄. Luckily the Visa queue was very short, so we showed our interview letter to the guard and then went through security. Once through you are directed into a large waiting room. There are desks and windows on one side and all the chairs are in the middle. No vending machines so take a drink.
You are given a number and when this flashes up on the screen you go to the corresponding desk. The guy we saw was British and he did our fingerprints and we had to hand over all our documents plus our daughters latest tax return. (This is significant as due to the immigration delays, the one on our file was too old, so make sure you get the latest one before the interview).

🌟 My interview day summary: may be helpful especially if you have kids!
On Monday morning, I flew with my 10 month old daughter from Belfast to London Gatwick.
My interview date was the day after (13.07.21), we arrived at the Embassy at around 8:30, my interview wasn’t until 9. We walked around the building once to calm my nerves and then went to the “Visa Services†entrance to see if it was too early or not to enter. The lady was super helpful, asked for my passport and appointment letter, stamped my letter and told me to go to the front of the queue as I seemed to be the only other Immigrant Visa applicant amidst a lot of Non Immigrant applicants.
When I got in there, I was asked for my appointment letter again. I was also asked to open my phone and show the security guard that I had legitimate apps on there. He gave me the all clear and I went to the main security building. Again, the security staff ... read complete review
