The interview was fast and easy. Officer asked me the following questions:
- how, when and where you met;
- when did you maintain your relationship;
- where your fiancee work right now, where did she work when you met and what positions she had and have;
The interview took about 4 minutes.
Documents were checked before the interview by the embassy employee.

The visa interview was the most pleasant and the fastest part of the whole process! It took about 40 minutes, as well as the interview itself took about 5 minutes! Some general and simple questions were asked: - where did you meet? - when did you meet? - how many times your fiance visited you? - were you and your fiance married before? Some more questions about ex wife of my US fiance and my sister who lives in the US, and that's it! The consulate lady whom interviewed me was a young pleasant woman and it was really pleasant to talk to her! So those of you who worry about the interview and spend sleepless nights - you have nothing to worry about! The interview is just a pure formality! You will know all the answers, coz your relationships are real and genuine! Good luck to you all!

The interview went very fast and well. The affidavit of support and other documents were barely looked at. At the interview itself I was asked couple of questions such as: "What's my name?", "When and where did we meet?", "Was I married before?", and "Do I have any children?". Then I was congratulated and given a piece of paper with approval. The interview itself lasted 30 or less minutes.

Interview was easy and quick. Only a couple of simple questions. American embassy staff in Kiev were very nice and accommodating.

Just finished interview, and I'll have to say that it was the easiest part of this whole process. As others have stated make sure you have all paperwork from the checklist. DS-160 confirmation page , passports, birth certificates, police report, pictures, divorce decrees if applicable, affidavit of support etc... I am the petitioner, and was there with my fiance. First you will submit you paperwork at the window when your number is called. You will then take a seat and wait to be called to the window again. This is when you are asked a few questions. The first question will be what language you wish to speak. My fiance chose English. The questions were; How did we meet? Internet. Which site was that? How many times I, the petitioner, has been to see her? He asked me one question and it was; am I the fiance? I have been living in Ukraine with my fiance for almost 9 months and that answer seemed to seal the deal. He said "everything looks good you will receive your visa in a few days". ... read complete review
