Interview was scheduled for 8.30am. We arrived at 8am and were let in without waiting in a long line. After submmiting all our forms, we waited another 30 minutes before our names were called for the interview.
Questions:
-When is your fiancee birthday? (Consular asked my fiance)
-How did you meet?
-What kind of job does my fiance want to do in the US?
The interview lasted for 5 minutes or so, and we got a pink card which means approval. All people infront of us were approved.
If you have all your paperwork done right, you do not have to worry.
Good luck to everybody.

Despite being way beyond qualified in character, economics and all other aspects, despite a full and thorough fully documented and easily understood K1 Visa package (done by BOTH myself, my fiance and our Board Certified/ALIS member Attorney, we were put through the ordeal of "additional processing" or 221g.
I have rarely been so angry and indignent in my lifetime (and I am no spring chicken). These fools just were either too lazy, too apathetic or just singled us out to make life more difficult.
Utter and complete foolishness on their parts made our lives miserable for several months. I would love to turn the tables on these people in some way.
I have seen power in the wrong hands of the US Government misused at my expense bbefore, but this one takes the cake. I used to be proud of so much in the USA, but now I am just ashamed and gun shy of anything to do with the US Government.

14 March 2012. Outstanding! We were treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Everyone was pleasant and polite. Olesya (my fiance) had read negative comments on other forums about Kyiv. After being worried She was very pleased how we were treated. And the new embassy is very very liked. Hats off to the entire staff. I will update info later about embassy, the \"no bags\" ect.

We arrived at 8:30am for our 9:30am appointment. There was a guy just outside the security entrance with a list of names of people who had appointments. She gave him her name and we showed him our passports then he let us inside the security check area. The Ukranian security guys are not the friendliest bunch but I guess they are just doing their job. You cannot take bags inside but you can take cell phones, wallets, keys etc. Anything they dont want you to take to the interview they will put in a plastic bin and you get it on the way out. Once inside the interview area we were issued a number and sat down. If you arent nervous at this point then you arent human. When we saw our number we approached the corresponding window and gave the lady all the paper work as she asked for it. Then she asked for all the proof of relationship evidence and I started to give her photos, emails, letters and by the time I was about to give her the 150 pages of skype chat she said its enough. I don't nee... read complete review
