Chanisa's appointment was scheduled for 7am, Dec 30th.
Chanisa arrived at the embassy at 5:45am and stood in line to wait to be admitted to the embassy. Although she was the first K-1 visa seeker to arrive, she was 5th in line -- the first 4 people wanted tourist visas. She claims she was the best-dressed of the K-1 visa seekers Typical Chanisa -- That's my girl!
At 6:30am, the embassy doors were opened. She waited until 7am when an announcement was made that K-1 fiancée seekers should come to window #5.
The woman at window 5 asked for specific original documents (including a document that had been missing from our packet 3). It was a good thing that Chanisa's documents were organized (tabbed) in a such a way that she could quickly and easily find the requested documents. Chanisa then sat down and waited for her name to be called.
At 8:30, she was the 5th K-1 seeker to be called to window #6 where ... read complete review

The interview went great. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is
because she got up at 3AM, arrived at Wireless Rd. at 4:30, got in the
doors at 7AM but had her interview at 12:30PM, lasting only 5 minutes!
She was THE first in line I believe but they just called names and it
APPEARED to be in random order. Possibly the order had been pre-determined
by the CO group according to which case would be more difficult or had
documentation problems. If they are interviewing people for a couple of
hours I think they would want to tackle the problem issues first and
leave the ones that had already been decided to the end. She was called
DEAD LAST.
The CO was a young woman (USC) who also did tourist visa interviews.
She made her very much at ease and said "your paperwork is perfect."

When did your fiancé come to see you last?<... read complete review

I had to wait for ~1.5 hours before CO called my name to Window 6. The CO was female, and she only asked me a few questions before approving my case. The questions she asked was about how I met my fiance and when I planned to get married. She also asked me about my fiance's job and location. Overall, it was a simple and quick interview. The CO just looked through the photos I submitted as an evidence and emails.
I'm so glad the K1 journey is finally over!

My fiancee showed up around 6am for her 8am interview and was let in not too long after. When she was called up they asked her how we met and 1 other question and approved her. 5 min, and pick up visa on 11/16. Interview was in English but the woman spoke Thai to the lady before my fiancee.
