My fiancé arrived at 5:30am and there was already a queue of about 10 people. Once inside she had an initial interview, a woman went through her packet and checked to make sure all documents where there. At this point she was made aware that she was missing one document (1040). She then waited a little while longer to be interviewed by the consulate. The consulate was very polite and asked her many question's.
1. Where did we meet?
2. When did your fiance come to visit?
3. Has he met your child?
4. When do you plan on getting married?
5. How do you communicate after he left?
6. What does your fiance study at university?
She said that she asked her a lot [I will update the list as she remembers them] of questions. My fiance felt the interview went well but she received a 221g because of the missing 1040 form. The consulate handed her the form and said send in this form and I will review your case again.
She had a very good experi... read complete review

just spoke with my love and was the happiest news ever our K1 was approved, big thanks to VJ for all the help and info. My fiancé told me her experience was pretty good and exhausting. said their were many girls their for k1 and tourist visas, most of them were denied due to not enough evidence and english was not so good. the CO was very polite to her she was one of the last to be interview and the only one with a lot of documentation and photos, evidence, we are very happy and glad we will be together soon. best of luck to you all.javascript:emoticon('')

Very Goog experience....1.5 hr wait, but a 10 minute interview. We were very, very prepared with MORE than enough documentation, female interviewer asked only about 5 questions. Process was straight forward and consulate seemed very organized.

Wait for interview for 4 hours at the embassy. Very slow, only one window open. People who come to interview for a tourist visa has shorter wait and left way before me.
