Bangkok, Thailand | Review on December 18, 2014: | Trasary

My fiancé arrived at 5:30am and there was already a queue of about 10 people. Once inside she had an initial interview, a woman went through her packet and checked to make sure all documents where there. At this point she was made aware that she was missing one document (1040). She then waited a little while longer to be interviewed by the consulate. The consulate was very polite and asked her many question's.
1. Where did we meet?
2. When did your fiance come to visit?
3. Has he met your child?
4. When do you plan on getting married?
5. How do you communicate after he left?
6. What does your fiance study at university?
She said that she asked her a lot [I will update the list as she remembers them] of questions. My fiance felt the interview went well but she received a 221g because of the missing 1040 form. The consulate handed her the form and said send in this form and I will review your case again.
She had a very good experience at the embassy, even with the 221g.
The best advice she would give is to make sure you have every document on their list (especially the house registration card that isn't on the list) before going to your appointment.
