I had my interview back in December 21, 2018.
My appointment was 8:30 am and got there around 7 in the morning just in case. There were two lines in front of the gate, for nonimmigrant visa interview and immigrant visa interview. It’s little bit confusing K1 is no immigrant visa for USCIS but it’s treated as an immigrant visa by consulate.

At the interview, they told my husband that his case would be under administrative processing and handed him a blue slip of paper. He did not need to turn in any missing documents it just check administrative processing. After checking our visa status all night long and it saying administrative processing the next day around noon it said issued! My husband received his passport with his visa and original documents that they collected at the interview in the mail the next day.
