Fiancé was interviewed by 2 different individuals - one pleasant and one difficult. Questioning was very thorough. Still under administrative processing 11 months later, after submitting more evidence on 2 subsequent occasions.

Petition submitted to Dhahran consulate, reviewed and approved immediately. Passed to Riyadh for further processing. Received Packet III in a few weeks. Longest step was the police certificate, took about 7 weeks. Medical was in a hospital in Khobar. The interview itself was uneventful, just a few questions about how we met, what are plans were after we entered the US. Approved at interview, they Fedex'd the passport with visa to us a few days later.

* Call time 12:30 (12-14)
* Two consul officer did interview on me.(not on the same time) and asked me the ff.
√ who's your fiancé
√ where's him
√ when was the last time you see each other
√ what's your age and your fiancé
√ what's the name of your parents
√ where did you meet your fiancé
√ when was the proposal
√ how long you know your fiancé
Tips:
• make sure you have all the requirements
• money for paying on SMSA express (125 riyal) if u approve
• if you're using sponsor make sure you have the letter of your fiancé with he's sign explaining why he has no federal taxes
• and the most important thing is pray..with god everything is possible just have faith and believe.

The embassy in Riyadh recieved our file and contacted us with packet 3 right away. After this however it was difficult to contact the embassy (only through email). Sometimes they would reply sometimes they would not. After sending in the required documents it took about a month and a half before being scheduled for the interview. And the interview was only 6 days after being notified with the packet 4 email. Very short notice.
His interview was on a Wednesday at 12:30pm. He was in and out in about an hour. Not much waiting. He was first asked for the email with his interview appointment and his passport. Then, he was asked for the original receipt for the payment through SAMBA bank. He was also asked for his original birth certificate and english translation, police certificate, medical, affidavit of support and supporting documents, and any additional pictures we had of us together. First of all I really would like to thank all of visa journey team and members. The information provided here helped me ALOT.
I will be so pleased to share my K1 visa experience so it can be helpful for other applicants.
I sent the DS-160 confirmation page to the embassy in Riyadh after 9 days they informed me by call and by email about the interview date which was on 01 November 2015.
I went to my appointment at 12:30 pm then I took a number and waited until my turn.
note (it is very important to print out the email u will receive from embassy regarding the interview date)
Then the person asked me for my passport and the printed out email, he took them and told me to have a seat. after that they called me and the same person start asking for the papers and documents:
1-the fee deposit.
2-Birth certificate the original and the copy.
3-Police clearance.
4-Medical report.
