Here is our update: 16-Nov, we recieved word from Moscow that they needed to see my last three months of bank statements, and pay stubs. I faxed everything to them, and on 1-Dec Olesya got the call we have been waiting for since 15-Oct, ОДОБРЕНА (Approved). Today 7-Dec, she recieved her VISA from DHL. Now I'm looking for tickets, and she will be in Phoenix in January. Good luck to all that are waiting, don't give up. I'm still giving the rating a 0, for the fact how rude the interviewer was, and for recieving a blank 221(g) and not being told what she needs to do with it.

Upon reflection after it was all over, I can not say the Embassy did not give us a fair interview. There were some issues that later got resolved and we were approved!!! Read the details in this thread:

The rating of a 4 is just a wish for some consideration. She was struggling with the young child, which was distracting and also causing some communication problems. The CO did not offer to allow her to give the child to the friend waiting for her interview, so the interview could be conducted in more peace.

Tatiana's appointment was at 8AM, she got to the embassy at 7:15AM. She got inside after the multiple letter, passport, wand sweeps of your person and then the turning over of any goods to the lockers at around 8:35AM. She said that everyone was very nice, just trying to make it very easy and accomidating. She was called to the window to turn in her papers, medical, financial ect. While speaking to this lady she was also very nice and told her that the officer would see her soon. Sure enough about 40 minutes later, she met with the officer. While Tatiana's case is a bit different I will not go into the questions asked, but the general ones were: Where did you meet? What does your Fiance' do? Where does he work? When did he propose? Did you get a ring? May I see the ring? Do you have any photos? May I see the photos?

In all she says that she was treated very nicely and it was no trouble at all. While our outcome is not what we wanted, I hope that soon it wi... read complete review

Had to wait 4 hours before the interview but then it was fast and smooth, had all documents and evidence of our relationship. We were waiting for this Approval 6 years 5 months and 2 weeks so they just asked him how and where we met and looked at our pictures.

It’s been a nightmare so far. Olesya had her interview on 15Oct09, she was told she needed more documents and given a blue paper with a list of document numbers and told good-bye, when asked what she had to do the woman only said “good-bye” After about an hour of her crying she was able to tell me what had happened.
I made my first call ($12) to Moscow that night from America, asked my questions about what other documents were needed, and I was told to call back between 6 – 8 Moscow time. I made my second call (another $12) and was told no other documents were needed and her papers were being processed, and she would receive her DHL within 10 days, if not, call back. I made my third call ($12) about an hour later just to make sure I understood everything, and was told again, no more documentation was needed, and her case was being processed, if she does not receive her package within 10 days, to please call back to the embassy.
Two weeks later I made my f... read complete review
