I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of entire staff (not only CO that interviewed). They even allowed me (USC) to be present there. Very professional, friendly.

Olga had her interview on 5/13/2011. This is what I got from what she relayed to me but I will have her write her own review.
Her arrival and initial checkpoint procedures were unpleasant due to the Russian guards being somewhat unsociable. The wait was fairly short after she was seated in the waiting room. The Consular was very friendly and asked very few questions. She tried to make sure Olga was not lying about anything by using tricky wording in her questions. She did not even look at our supporting evidence at all. The Affidavit of Support IS REQUIRED at the Moscow embassy! She said all the Americans were very pleasant and friendly. That they even answered her questions without getting angry or impatient. Overall a good experience.
Pay close attention to the following at this embassy:
- Have an affidavit of support with financial documentation.
- DO NOT get caught up in a lie. listen carefully to questions.

Dinara was given an interview time of 12:30. When she arrived, she went through all of the procedures, handed over all of the documents, and began to wait. She said that there was hardly any line, only a few people. She explained that the consul was very nice, and he was looking at our case for a long time before calling her. She even thought something was wrong because of how long he was looking at it. He asked her where did we meet, what website, how did she find this website, how much time we were talking before meeting in person and who was the first to say that its time to meet. He also asked how many times and where did we meet. He asked if her parents are okay with us being an interracial couple. She explained to him that her parents were a bit hesitant at first, but are okay with it now. He then asked her to show him our pictures and then he said "well Dinara, you and Nate have a beautiful story, like a fairy tale, i wish you all the best. Hope you will keep it as a fairy tale... read complete review

Our interview was scheduled for 12:30. We arrived at noon and entered the consulate. There were VERY few people in line, I guess due to the Easter holidays. All the consular staff including CO were extremely nice and helpful. She was asked the following questions:
1) I am guessing this is your fiance sitting behind you?
2) How did you meet?
3) How was it like living in Mexico (while waiting for NOA2 I rented apartment on the boarder and we were living together and I was commuting daily to work in San Diego for 3 months)
You are approved!

She told me that the interview was not difficult, although she was a little bit nervous. The male CO - a Russian speaking American guy - was very nice and professional (a mix of friendly and serious). Her overall impression of the embassy was positive and said the immigrant line was quite short compared to those waiting for non-immigrant interviews. She said all those she was waiting with were approved (family visas but not all K-1). Her appointment was for 0800 and she was the last one interviewed from the early appointments. She was done by 1030.
Questions asked:
When did you first meet (become acquainted)?
When was your first meeting (in person)?
How many times did you meet?
What is his son’s name (who is he)? Where does he live?
Do you know about criminal history (small stupid arrest in college)?
Do you have any photos? Any photos with your mother?
What does your mother think of him?
What date did he propose?<... read complete review
