I arrived at the Embassy at 12:30. I waited accross the street until 1pm when a security guard came and checked our passports and then called us inside. We were scanned and we had to leave our phone with them. I had no bags, just my wallet and my papers. Inside, I was called to give my passport, then they took my fingerprints, and then I paid the visa fee. After about 5-10 minutes I was called for the actual interview. A very nice lady asked a lot of questions about our relationship, but I was so nervous that I am not able to remember them all and list them here. The toughest one was: 'what would you do if you wouldn't get the visa'. In the end she congradulated me and aproved my visa. Everything was extremely professional, it was not crowded, no waiting in lines, I was done in 40 minutes. I had a really good experience. Good luck to you all!

Got to the embassy 30 minutes earlier and we had to wait but it was a nice sunny weather. My interview was scheduled for 1 PM, and around 12:55 a guy from the security came out and invited us to go inside.
Once I was cleared by the security went to the second building where the Consulate is. At the first window I had to give my passport, one 2x2 inches picture and then I was told to take a seat and wait. I was called again to the same windows to give in my papers. Then I was sent to window 12 to pay the MRV fee which was payable either in USD or RON. I paid in USD and went back to window 1 with the receipt.
Afterwards I was called to windows 6 to take my fingerprints and invited again to take a seat and wait to be called by the Consul for the actual interview.
After another 10 minutes I heard my name and I had to go to Window 9. The US consul was such a nice lady and the interview was more like a conversation than an interview.
After I took... read complete review

So I arrived there really early, 3 hrs prior to the interview. I asked one of the guards outside the embassy if I have to give them my interview appointment letter, so they will know I'm there and he said it's not necessary, because I should be on the list. But that I need to wait till 1 pm.
I came back at the embassy at 12:30 and there were already few people outside waiting. Fortunately the weather was lovely
At 12:55 someone came with a list and started calling the people. I got called the 5th. Inside, we had to go through security check same as when going to the airport. We were not allowed to carry any backpacks with us so I had to take out my 2 huge folders, huge wedding album + another photo album where I had pictures with us from our trips. Then we were sent to another building where we were asked to wait till we hear our names called.
Unfortunately, I was literally the last one to be called for the interview. I think there were 12 peo... read complete review

My interview was scheduled really fast. I called the embassy on a Friday and got the appointment next Monday at 1pm. I got there 30 minutes earlier. I had to give my passport and my visa picture at window 2 and to pay the Visa Fee at window 12 . After that they called me at window 5 for my fingerprints and again at window 2 to give all the documents. I had to wait around 40-50 minutes before they called me for the actual interview.
The questions they asked me were basic : How we met , How many times we’ve seen each other , Where are we going to live in USA , If he visited me in Bucharest.
After that the lady told me that everything is ok and that I got approved and my visa will be delivered in 2 days.
