my plane was late for 40 minutes. i thought ill be late, took a cab and got at the embassy around 12:30 (my interview was at 1). went at security door, the guy inside was like "miss diana p. right?" , me: how u know that?.. (he was just a guardian). he said he gets phone calls. told me to walk around until 1 , so i did. i was bored so i socialized a bit with the guardians around the embassy until it was time. at 1:00pm, i go in, they take everything except my binder, medical, passport, photo album and sent me to another section of the building full of offices. the waitting room was EMPTY!! i was the only one in there. me and a guardian. after 1 minute i was called at window 1 by a romanian woman, a bit bored, she asked me for everything, even the photo album. told me to wait. after 3-4 minutes i was called at window 6 by an afro-american guy, around 30 of age, super cute LOL. he took my fingerprints with the scanner and joked around with me for having shaky hands. i had a small paper c... read complete review

I had my interview on 1 sep,and it was very close to some of the other reviews on this site.First they called me to give them all the forms,
affidavit of support,letters from his job,police certificate,passport,proof of our relationship,my birth certificate|(original and copy),medical.
After that I've waited like 30min and they called me and took my fingerprints. An hour later I got called again, this time for my interview. It took 2 minutes and the questions were:
How did you meet your fiance?
Where will you live?
When did you get engaged?
How long have you been together?
When you want to go to usa?
I got my visa that day,2hours later.
Good luck to everybody!!!

Our experience was very similar to those who posted here in the past about the Bucharest consulate. Not long after everybody was passed through security and directed to sit, people were called to different windows for fingerprints, to submit paperwork, and give oaths of truthfulness. Following the prelimaries, my wife was called to window 6 for her interview, but she had just walked away to use the restroom; so, I went to the window for her. The interviewer was a man, but not "Mr. Smiley Boy" that other people mention here. Before my wife's return, he asked me a few question which I don't believe were part of the process, but more to just kill time. He asked how long I'd been in Romania, and I told him, and then let him know it was my 8th visit to the country. He asked if I came all eight times to visit my wife and I said yes. After a few other pleasant exchanges, my wife returned and the real interview began.
Questions that we remember:
- Does her mother like me?... read complete review

We´ve got there at 1pm,went to a window and give them my passport, then i was called to give the papers that they asked for and proof of relashionship, after that called again for fingertprints, and around 3pm called for the interview.
The consul was a nice guy, actually there were 2,one was asking questions and the other one was just approving everything we were saying.
Questions asked:How did you meet? Why did i left the USA in 2008?What is my mom´s status in the USA?How many times my husband visit me?How many times did he came before the wedding? What type of car i was driving while in the US?
That was it,the waiting time was a bit long but the interview lasted 2minutes.
I did helped me a lot that my husband was there with me,and that he could answer questions also!

They call all the k-1ers at 1pm but it's good to be there a little bit earlier. We were in at 12:50. I waited for a little bit, then I heard my name - you have to listen carefully because their microphones suck :D The lady asked for my ds forms - only one ds-156 and the ds-156k. Then for my police certificates and birth certificate - make sure you have a copy of your birth certificate. After that I gave her the affidavit of support, pay stubs, tax transcripts for the last 3 years, and letters from Matt’s employers. The last things I gave her were two folders - one with pictures, and the other one with emails, copies of cards, chat logs, airplane tickets, etc.
Next thing on the list - fingerprints. Then I waited for about 2 hours when my name was called again. The interview was really easy, I don't think it lasted more than 2 minutes. The consul was really nice, smiled the whole time. He first told me he needs to take my oath, had me swear everything in the application was tru... read complete review
