The Doha embassy was fantastic. Her appointment was at 10AM, and the process was very fast, very professional and low stress. The CO asked her a few questions about me and how we met, and chatted a bit about our case. He then told her the visa was approved.

Our interview was scheduled for May 19, but I emailed the embassy and requested an earlier date once I knew that they had received our file, explaining that I (the USC) am pregnant and that May 19 was really close to my due date so we'd appreciate an earlier date b/c I would like to attend the interview with my husband (the beneficiary). They told me they'd contact us once they received our file. Through tracking I knew that they received our file on April 4, but they didn't call until April 22, telling us to come in the following Sunday, April 28 10:00 am, for our interview.
I was under the impression that they had certain times for Non Immigrant Visa, American Citizen Services, and Immigrant Visa but I guess I was wrong. We got to the embassy at 9:30 am and it was SO crowded. They were calling numbers 135 and that's when I noticed that they were doing NIV's! Once they finished those, they started with the ACS numbers, which were only 6 or 7 people, THEN they started wi... read complete review

Let me preface this by saying that although I used the Doha Consulate in Qatar. I am a Filipino citizen. I was living and working in Qatar at the time my K-1 Fiance Visa was being processed.
The consulate officer looked over my paperwork. They asked basic questions about me, how long I had been in Qatar, my profession, etc. They asked basic questions about our relationship, how we met, how we spend time together, what we do online, etc. They asked basic information about my fiancee, where she works, what she does, what she likes, etc. Then they asked about my children as they were included on my visa application. They asked if my kids were traveling with me. They were looking for the childrens birth certificates and authorization from their biological mother for them to travel. Once they discovered that my children were not traveling with me as they are in the Philippines and I was in Qatar, they collected my paperwork. They told me to return two days later to ret... read complete review

The Consular was courteous and a listening type. He asked few questions and said everything is perfect but he needs to get one or two details.
I was given a "REFUSAL SHEET" and he ticked ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING "AP". javascript:emoticon('')
After 6 weeks, I was called for a Telephone Interview and later re-scheduled for physical interview.
At the physical interview, the Consular was frown and unfriendly. He asked a lot of questions furiously and I also answered some question furiously. He had called our parents on phone before interviewing me. He had also interviewed my finacee on phone for more than 1 hour.
I later discovered that our case has been approved. They were just looking for loopholes.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY !!! javascript:emoticon('')
THANKS TO ALL VJERS ! javascript:emoticon('')
