Review Topic: IR-5 Visa

We come to the meeting 15 minutes earlier.
There is a good organization to enter in front of the embassy in Warsaw.
In cases of immigrant visas, they turn to other windows
Meeting with the consul is the exchange of a few sentences and smiles.
Very nice atmosphere, no stress.
(IR-5)
We only go to the US with a passport and visa - there are no visa packages.
Complete documents according to the Polish website of the American embassy.

TLDR: The interview process was very smooth. We followed the advice given on this website as well as the official document checklist from the Warsaw embassy itself. We had much more than we needed and honestly looking back we probably were stressing about this a lot more than we needed to. That said, I wouldn't have done anything different.

My wife's appointment was scheduled for 9AM. We arrived at about 8:45. There was a line outside of the embassy. Once he was satisfied, we were directed to a Window where another man checked my Wife's passport against the appointment list. He took her passport and added a barcode sticker to it. We were then directed inside the security checkpoint. Prior to the interview I had been wondering if they would allow me to enter the emb... read complete review

Honestly, very nice experiance

My appointement was at 8:30 am (this is the time
when you allowed to be invited into the Embassy) and I was back out calling my Fiance at 9:23 am.

Before you are able to enter the Embassy you should check if you are on the list (there is an Embassy worker on a sidewalk with a notepad), then still outside of the Embassy you queue in front of a window where your passport and ds-160
is checked. You get a sticker on the passport and you wait untill a nice security guard invites you in. Inside you do a normal security check (like an airport one) and you give your phone and other devices like a power bank to the guards. They put them on a shelf and give you a number to collect them when you are done. Next you stroll inside, straight to the basement to the immigration visa side. Once there, at the window 13 you collect your number and wait to be called to the
window 14 where a really nice la... read complete review
