My name is Andy the US petitioner for Anna, my fiancée. Are experience involves IMBRA and I will include some links with more detailed information concerning that. However for this review I will stick to the general events that took place so everyone can relate.

We arrived at the consulate around 7:00am and waited outside with a small group of people. Everyone was allowed to enter the Embassy around 7:45am. First we had to show our passport and invitation letter to the security guard before entering the screening room. Then we had to remove our jacket and anything that's metal before passing through the metal detectors. After we were cleared by security, we entered another outside waiting area before the embassy allowed us to enter. There are 3 colored lines; we stood in the red line for immigrant visas.

Once the embassy called for us to enter we had to again show our invitation letter to a lady behind a small row of desks on the left. She looked at the i... read complete review

I thought I will just copy my interview experience from Nebraska Forum, so here you are:
There were a couple of people waiting in line outside the Embassy, and a security guy came out and said they let people in, but only those who have their appointments scheduled at 8.00 in the morning. So I told him I have my appointment scheduled between 8.00-10.00 and he said:
- Ok, so you are for an immigrant visa section, you can come in! And he gave me a paper to fill out when I have a second, that was for DHL delivery, when I get my visa.
Ok, so I took 1 big envelope with the evidence of our relationship with Brad and 2 photo albums, and 2 folders with our papers, left my bag, my mobile phone with Aga and came inside. I didn't pay attention, but Aga said I entered Embassy at 7.45 in the morning.
The security at first asked me to present the invitation letter, they also asked to see my passport. So I showed them everything what they asked for and they gave it back t... read complete review

Review Topic: General Review

Although my appointment letter says to be between 8-10 i was at the embassy about 7 am, luckily there was only few people so i was one of the first in line. I guess they open at 8 but they started letting people in about quarter past 7, so didn't have to wait long outside. I was in immigrant visa section about quarter to 8 waiting to be called. When my number appeared i went to the window to submit my documents. They wanted: invitation letter, birth certificate, 2 pictures, police certificate, DS-156 forms plus supplement and I-134 from my fiancee. I was kinda confused and a little worried cause we have her parents as a co-sponsor,but they didn't want that and i was expecting that i have to explain our financial situation at the interview with CO.After submitting that papers i waited a little bit to pay for visa application. When i was paying for a visa they called my number, so i quickly went to the window. The CO was a very friendly and nice lady. She asked me only one question, when... read complete review
