I am the petitioner, I will rate 'my' experience! I heard the Consular Official was very nice to my fiance. She got approved on her first time. I was also very happy with the way we could call in and make an appointment, it saved us some time. ... read complete review

Well my fiancee got to the USEM around 5am with a 7am appointment. She was the first one to be called in to be fingerprinted, prescreened and Interviewed. She was the first one into the USEM and the first one OUT! VERY SMOOTH and no delays.
Pre screener: was an older woman who looked like she could cut you down with words of spite. But actually, she very nice and cordial to my fiancee during the interview. She had asked very basic questions as typical to any other visa interview review. She ask my fiancee to tell about our love story. The prescreener collected the docs (it's important to ensure your docs dont have any discrepencies nor out of order) and went right to asking my fiancee the questions. She answered tactfully, respectfully, and cordially and she got right through with no hassle just being honest and straight foward.
Consul:My fiancee said she looked alot like the late Princess Diana and she was very professional and very nice. She asked basica... read complete review

This pinay is a big BITCH!!! We have all the required documents according to their instructions. But then, he asked my husband how come the birth certificate was late registered(1998)and she asked for my husband's baptismal which unfortunately due to nervousness my husband said, "We dont have it,"; but with my presence of mind, I thought about his driver's license and voter's ID. This "B" is staring at us sarcastically. Pls if possible avoid WINDOW 17 and because you are in for interrogation like you are suspect!
CONSUL: This consul is a fine young man only in physical features, probably in his early 30's, caucasian, and very demeaning. He asked my husband (the beneficiary) to get out and asked me to stay after he asked my husband: what is his name, how old is he and what is his job? Then, he turned to me and asked me. This are all his questions:
1. How often do you come in the Philippines? Every year? How can you aff... read complete review

My fiance passed his interview yesterday. february the 12th, and up until now we still could not believe it! almost two long years since we met and finally, it's time he comes over here and start our new life, our new family. And, on this great victory we have achieved, I have everyone here at visajourney to thank for. If not for this forum, I don't think we would've gone through this process smoothly. This goes out to everyone, THANK YOU!
Now for those who are still waiting for NOA2, just hang in there...your day will come. I never thought this day would come, QUICK!
For those just waiting for the interview date: Just be yourself. Review the most common things that you ought to know about your fiance/fiancee and you'll be fine. and oh, like what my fiance told me: Answer from the heart...it'll just all come out naturally as you answer...
Now for the questions they asked:

It was a very challenging journey for us from petition filling to the interview event.
Waiting for NOA2 is filled with uncertainties, agonizing, hopelessness, it is filled with emotional anxiety but it is rewarding & relieving if its all over.
My husband & I are happy now. Thanks for the Almighty guidance.
