My angel got a nice officer. Approved with no problem. That's what happens when you are prepared and organized.

All went pretty smoothly. Asked alot of question due to my fiancee having submitted a DUI in history but other than that, there were really no issues. Went pretty smooth.

Hi all...Sorry if it took me so long to make this review. But anyway, God is great. I had my interview last January 11 at 7 am but was finally interviewed around 8 or 8:30 in the morning.
I passed by at gate 3 entering to the US embassy building. When i was at the US embassy bldg. i had to get my priority number. So my number was 7009. U have to wait for your number to be flashed in the board as it will not be in order basis. So while i waited for my number to be flashed, my name was called for finger prints. so i stood up and went to Window 30 for finger printing. After that my number was being flashed at window 29 so i stood up again and went to meet the pre screener. The filipina pre screener was not in the mood. I guess she was just tired recieving a bunch of documents. But indeed, my patience was being tested. After i passed all the necessary documents like CENOMAR, affidavit of supports, pictures and stamped letters from my fiance she told me to go back to my chair. So i w... read complete review

My wife arrived an hour before her 8:30AM appointment and was done with the whole process by 12PM. She said that the pre-interview screening people (who were grumpy middle-aged Filipino women) were very impolite and had no respect for the applicants. Not sure if it's part of their job to act that way, but it sure pissed the hell out of my wife, haha. But the actual person who conducted the interview (a mid-40's American male) was very soft-spoken and calm. He asked basic questions about our relationship, etc. Then he approved her visa in a snap! Overall, it was an OK experience.

Overall it was a smooth process. I was with my fiancee as she went through the process. First you are escorted into the waiting area to have a seat. Then my fiancee (and only her) was escorted to a booth where she received her number provided that her application was in order. Then we wait for her number to be called for biometrics and primary screening. First they called her for biometrics. No problems there. Make sure your fingers are warm . The biometric scanner does not like cold fingers. Then we were called for primary screening. We were both asked questions, but they mostly asked her about evidence of relationship. They asked me for my most recient W2 and 1040 transcript. Then we wait for final screening. At Final screening, the consolate officer was very official with us, which made us a little nervous. He asked if we knew some names that we had never heard of. We then found out that her biometrics were mixed up with someone else. Officer corrected the issue, a... read complete review
