Since we are an old married couple deciding suddenly to immigrate to the USA after 18 years in the Philippines, the questions were a bit different and of no real help to the average applicant. Anyway, the good news is that there were three consular officers conducting interviews. I had to submit so many inquiries and written letters to get a new interview date and finally they gave us an expedited interview (within two weeks) after one month of trying. Wife's and step-son's medical exam expire on 5 Aug. So you cannot cut it any closer. Expedite was approved in Dec, but wife failed x-ray and needed sputum. And it appears SLEC is only giving five (5) months on the medical before expiration. Questions were fair. No surprises. Make sure your AOM/CENOMAR is current (within 6 months). They did not want to see the husband's AOM (doesn't mean they will not ask you). Wife volunteered to show my rental lease in the USA to make it smoother.
