Since we are an old married couple deciding suddenly to immigrate to the USA after 18 years in the Philippines, the questions were a bit different and of no real help to the average applicant. Anyway, the good news is that there were three consular officers conducting interviews. I had to submit so many inquiries and written letters to get a new interview date and finally they gave us an expedited interview (within two weeks) after one month of trying. Wife's and step-son's medical exam expire on 5 Aug. So you cannot cut it any closer. Expedite was approved in Dec, but wife failed x-ray and needed sputum. And it appears SLEC is only giving five (5) months on the medical before expiration. Questions were fair. No surprises. Make sure your AOM/CENOMAR is current (within 6 months). They did not want to see the husband's AOM (doesn't mean they will not ask you). Wife volunteered to show my rental lease in the USA to make it smoother. Original NVC upload documents, financial documents....
