Our appointment was at 9:45 we arrived there an hour early , everything went really fast and smooth ... only was asked a couple of questions about how met, if he’s travel to the us or outside of Peru , my previous divorce , where are we getting married ... that’s it approved !! Super fast no more than 5 min I’ll say 😊😊

Great experience! Every step was very clear, we were treated with priority due to having our infant son accompany us to the appointment which they were very accommodating in that regard. Interview with the Immigration officer lasted maybe in all about 5 minutes. He was a nice guy and we are happy now that we will be together.

My fiancee and I arrived at 650 A.M. and our interview was at 730 A.M. , we had everything in a plastic multi pouch folder but we had to take out and use manila folders. So, I went to the stores that prepare your papers for you and I bought 6 manila folders ( so we could still organize her things) . So we proceeded with our things into the line ( outside before going inside building), there are 2 parts to the line, the first line at the end they check your papers such as ds160 or 260 to see interview date and passports . They band the passports together with a rubber band ( including my American one ) and have a sheet each for the Peruvian passports inside and plastic cards under rubber band saying good to proceed to next line ( or something for them basically meaning that) once you exit that line you can join the other line but you can't have electronics or food/drink, plastic bags etc. So there are storage boxes set up outside the lines on the street and you write your name and pay 1... read complete review

My interview was scheduled for 7:15. We got there early to be in line which was pointless because there were too many people but from different types of visa. We got separated from the group all "immigrant visas" then we went to security then we went to the room for interviews, we could sit here. First thing they do is make you put all basic documents n a folder in order so a Peruvian will call you to gather all those documents and after that the consultant will I interview you. In my case I went with my fiance because he was in Lima and it was right what I read when you are with your fiance the interview is faster and easier. People who were alone took like 15 minutos for interview and we took like 3. Question they ask; How many times you have been in USA? Do you know his family? When and where do you plan to get married? Questions to him? How many times have you been in Peru ? What do you do for work? Where are you from? Thats it. Good luck!!
