My fiancee and I arrived at 650 A.M. and our interview was at 730 A.M. , we had everything in a plastic multi pouch folder but we had to take out and use manila folders. So, I went to the stores that prepare your papers for you and I bought 6 manila folders ( so we could still organize her things) . So we proceeded with our things into the line ( outside before going inside building), there are 2 parts to the line, the first line at the end they check your papers such as ds160 or 260 to see interview date and passports . They band the passports together with a rubber band ( including my American one ) and have a sheet each for the Peruvian passports inside and plastic cards under rubber band saying good to proceed to next line ( or something for them basically meaning that) once you exit that line you can join the other line but you can't have electronics or food/drink, plastic bags etc. So there are storage boxes set up outside the lines on the street and you write your name and pay 10 soles I believe when you return with your ticket stub. Once you proceed through the 2nd line, right before you enter the security building they set you up as couples ( we had her 2 year old son ) and then full family visas and people by themselves ( quick through that line). Since you dont have electronics on you, just have to take out coins and go through security. Then you walk on a bridge path to another waiting area before interview building. Since we were either with our young son or was close to 730 already we proceeded directly into the building. Inside there are 2 areas, immigrant and non immigrant visas. Since our petition is a fiance Visa it was under non immigrant and we waited maybe 5 minutes to be called, ( it seems like a bank inside with bank teller windows and waiting area) the woman looked at the affidavit of support and supporting documents, asked by fiancee maybe 3 questions in spanish about the papers and we sat down for another 5 minutes. We were called again by a man at another window and he asked to speak spanish or English. Asking how much spanish I know, which I am not fluent, so he asked about her work and travel Visa from the past and where we planned getting married and when, how we met and how long we have known each other, and if she has met my family . THAT WAS IT! He told us her Visa would be sent DHL to the location set up before ( or need to do )
VERY QUICK AND NICE PEOPLE .
