My spouse was interviewed so I am only writing what she stated:

The following are questions which was asked during the interview:

1. When did you meet your husband?
2. Does he live in Nigeria? Where does he live in the US?
3. Where was he born?
4. How did parents meet/immigrated to US?
5. What is his job?
6. Where is his job?
7. When and where was the marriage?
8. Do you have photos? Asked who were the individuals in the photos
9. How often does he visit? does he come alone or with relatives?
10. What is his email? contact information?

The interviewer is a older gentleman. My spouse said he was a little bit hard. He did not forget anything (asked to see photos earlier in the interview but my wife forgot to show him and he still remembered to ask to see them before the interview was over).

Some questions were military specific like rank, duty station, and branch.<... read complete review

BELOW IS MY FIANCE'S REVIEW ... SORRY THIS IS COMING LATE …

(**Ene defu-amojo ki dabu Uwe? O Jehovah i nene du no **) … That was an Igala song which I was singing as I walked out of the embassy; it means “Who is like unto you among the gods, O Jehovah there is no one”.

My interview time was for 7:00am on 16/04/2015 … I came all the way from Portharcourt to Lagos so I have been there since on Monday when I went to pick up my medical results at Ikoyi and my fiancé arrived the following day from the states with all the docs I will need.

We stayed at a hotel which is like 10 mins away from the embassy. Got to the embassy around 5.30am I was surprised to see about over 40 persons waiting already.

The security guys stated checking us in exactly 6.40am (it was a Thursday and all the applicants for that day were for immigrant visas so no separation of lines (we were over 200 *scoffs**).

Documents were receive... read complete review

My husband was the last to be interviewed so it took about 4 hours, but once he was called up it only took 5 minutes. They ask my address, about divorce dates, kids names and ages. We sent about 60 pics with his friends and family at the NVC stage, as well as phone records, and screenshots (one from each month) from Facebook and yahoo messenger. The interviewer did second guess 1 or 2 of his answers but every time my husband would just reply "my wife is outside if you would like to ask her." I have also visited 4 times, once for official engagement, next for wedding, then for our 1st anniversary, and last for his interview. I'm sure everything came together to prove without a doubt that our marriage was all for love. All in all it was a good experience at the interview. Only thing I would have changed is I went with him and had to wait outside alone for the whole time. I suggest if you go visit for the interview stay at the hotel where it's more comfortable lol.

My wife second interview was easier than expected after waiting 10 months on Administrative processing, finally the C.O requested a new medical and police reports after she was asked to drop them with her passport at DSS location and after 10 days of waiting her visa was finally issued today. To God be the Glory. Thanks to Dwheels, Lizzy, on Whatsup Immigration Forum, and C.O on Nairaland forum and others. This journey took us 2 years and 2 months. If you're on AP guys hang in there and be prayerful. With God all things are possible. It was not easy but God made it simple and at last we are uniting very soon here in the United States. I will be here and on whatsup Immgration Forum to answer any questions from members. Lagos Consulate I salute
