I got to the embassy by 6:30am, join the queen eventually lost my spot severely on the queue. My little daughter didn’t make it easy at all,as she wants to either pee or have her drink or cookie. Eventually I got number 39. The wait isn’t for small boys! Got in saw several people been interviewed.
I my opinion the co’s were ok especially the black African guy! I swear! One lady was on the verge of getting a life ban , claimed she adopted a child at 4yrs without documents, only got a document in 2017 and the said baby is 13yrs presently . Anyways she was eventually given. Another man was rejected out rightly . Sincerely he was clueless about all the questions asked him. How can you not know your divorce date and birthdays of your kids and your coming to prove a relationship status. The current wife was still the same woman whom he previously married and divorced and married again.
Lastly my case ! I was third to the last, everyone left just 3 ... read complete review

I got to the Consulate at 4:50am. Around 7am or thereabout, We were divided into Immigrants and Non Immigrants. Went through lots of security checks and we started waiting. It was no joke, i almost sat on the floor, my legs were aching. They first attended to people above 70 and women with kids. It was a nice gesture but i was tired of standing. There were 2 COs, a white man and a black man. Honestly, i can’t tell you who was more lenient because they both denied people. It was a tough one. I was called to window 18, thought they wanted a document, only to realize that a third CO had been added. A beautiful African American lady, asked me to raise my right hand and swear. Then she asked the following
Who is calling? When did you meet? When did he propose? How many times has he been to Nigeria? I answered and she asked for photos, told me to explain what was happening in like 4 different photos. Then she said your visa is approved, gave me the white paper and told me when... read complete review

Long post alert!
Overall stressful experience. I knew the wait was going to be long, but I still managed to grossly underestimate the strain involved.
Arrived at the embassy at 5:30am in time for my 7am appointment. We were divided into immigrant and non-immigrant queues and had to go through possibly a million security checks, which ended with a Nigerian lady taking our finger prints. Then commenced the wait. Look around when you arrive. If there are lots of elderly people around, then bad news for you because they’ll attend to them first irrespective of when they arrived. This is reasonable, but can’t deny that it’s tiring standing for so long. For the interview proper, there were 2 CO’s initially - a black American male and a Caucasian male. The black dude seemed more brutal cos he denied 2 of the first 4 interviewees he encountered. Crazy. Once I’d waited for so long, and my number still seemed far away, I went to the bathroom to wai... read complete review

Went through the normal protocols of security. Then went inside the embassy and waited for probably 5-6 hours? My appointment was 6:30. 2 COs were interviewing us immigrants. One was a white and the other was an Asian. The Asian guy already denied 2 people due to them not knowing their fiancés well. 2 were told to bring additional documents. The non- immigrants interviews were done and I could say only 6 people were given. About 10 minutes, I could see the Asian guy checking my file. Called my number and interview goes thus;
Who is petitioning for you.
When did you meet.
Where did you meet.
How did you meet.
Was she previously married?
What date was her divorce?
How many kids?
How long has she been at her current job?
Does she stay in a house or apartment?
How much is her monthly salary?
How old is she?
How old am I?
How old are her kids?
How many times she visited me?

went through security checks and long queues which wasn't unexpected. i/o was pleasant. Asked my fiance's name, job, address. Then a little bit of how we met and our experience together, she wanted me to tell the short story along with some pictures that i have on me by explaining what we were doing including time and place. I labelled every single picture with dates, names of the places and the reason for the occasion. She smiled through it all, said I was approved and should be able to pick up visa after final checks in a few days.
