Hello vjers, I want to say Thank u to u all, I don't post but I read many posts and reviews, so I appreciate u all.
I had my interview yesterday at d lagos consulate. I went with a lot of proofs and evidences like, call logs, chat records, emails, money gram papers, picture bsfore, durin and after wedding etc.
The consular officer was a young white guy,who was staring at me while I was sitting but I didn't know why, though I was sittin in front of his window, then I was nervours. He interview two women and denied one and gave the other one form 212g, then he stood up and left for like 10 mins, other windows were calling IV numbers, so I was waitin for my number to be called. The consular guy came back and he was still staring at me and he called my IV number, (my mind was telling me he went to look for my papers bcos he wanted to be the one to interview me). He told me to take d oath, I signed ds 230 form and fingerprints. Then he started typing on d keyboard for like 3 m... read complete review

Finally after being on AP for almost a year my husband had his 2nd interview on 02/08 and was approved.
I went to the embassy with my husband for his interview. We arrived at 11:00 for a 1:00 appointment. They do not allow cabs to drive into the embassy any longer. You have to get dropped outside of the immediate embassy area and walk. We paid the 200 Naira for me to sit on the plastic chair under the shade trees while my husband had his interview. They called 1:00 appointments at 12:30.
My husband was one of the few people that was more business like in his dress. He had just gotten his hair cut and shaved and wore dress slacks and a button down blue shirt, and wore shoes instead of sandals. The way he was dressed made him look good and feel confident and it showed.
The interview was very short and the CO asked him:
1. What is your name?
2. Who filed for you?
3. When did you get married? [March 19, 2010]
4. Where... read complete review

These were the questions
- has ur fiance been married?
- does he have kids?
- what was the reason for divorce?
- when did they separate
- how did ur fiancee become a USA citizen
- where does he work?
- what is his job designation and what does that entail?
- do you know any of his colleagues at work?
- where is his office located?
-what are his hobbies? ( his likes watching comedies and reading books)
- what comedy does he watch?
-what book is he reading write now.
- how did u meet? ( we met thru a mutual friend)

we arrived at the Lagos embassy at about 5.30am because our appointment was for 7am. so we paid for chairs to sit down, instead of standing and at about 6.45am they called for the 7am appt to line up. my fiancee went in and came out at about 10am. I couldn't read the expression on his face as he walked towards me. the thing i saw was a huge smile on his face then i knew that we got it in the bag.
He said they asked him the following questions
who is the petitioner?
how did you guys meet?
who is her closest friend at work?
The CO asked him if he has anything else to show him, then my fiancee brought out pictures and the CO flipped through the pictures, raised his head and said i am going to give you a Visa.
my fiancee thanked him and left.
Am so excited. thanks to the reviews on visa journey which helped us a great deal in preparing for the interview
