Here's our experience at the Embassy / Consulate Stage:
1. Biometrics.
11/21/2014
I chose to do biometrics in Guadalajara (my hometown) as that would decrease the amount of days that I'd have to spend in Juarez, it was fairly quick. They only have 1 time slot per date at the Guadalajara consulate for Immigrant visa Biometrics and I forgot to bring the DS 260 confirmation. (Dummy!). So they canceled my appointment for that day and i was rescheduled to come back the day after that.
Next day it was fairly simple, I went in, guard checked my stuff, sat down, got biometrics checked and got a sticker on my DS-260 and I was asked which address I would live in the states.
2. Medical
So I scheduled an appointment for my medical with "medicos de visas" for the 23rd of December. I arrived the day before in Juarez and I spent the night at hotel IBIS. Horrible experience! Hotel was sooo disgusting that I won'... read complete review

This is the review for my time and experience in Juarez.
I flew in Monday and my Medical and Biometrics were on Tuesday.
TUESDAY.
Medical Exam.
I went to the Clinica Medica Internacional. I stayed at the IBIS hotel, it was perfectly located-- the clinic is like a three minute walk across the hotel's entrance. I got there at 6am, right at the time they open and there were already a few people in front of me, maybe like 15 people. You need to bring the consular appointment confirmation (I just printed the one in my email), your passport and some info about where you'll stay when you get to America (they want the full address). You take a seat and fill out the little form, and then someone comes along to check your papers. Then you go to a window where a lady asked for my info, passport, took my picture and my fingerprints, put a bracelet with more info on my wrist, and gave me a number on a piece of paper.
Then you go to an eye exam. A... read complete review

Greetings:
We just finished the interviews at Ciudad Juarez Mexico.
Of interest for those flying from several places in Mexico, one option is Viva Aerobus, a no frills airline that is dirt cheap. They don’t even have reserved seats, so I would recommend purchasing their more expensive version tickets that afford first boarding privilege and extra carry on and checked luggage. If you live in small towns a ways from the airport, free land bus travel is included between those towns and the airport.
We stayed at Wyndham’s Microtel. They are very well located. They had a very good online discount and are relatively cheap—especially since a free breakfast with eggs is included. Try not to arrive in the dining area too late or there won’t be much left. The hotel is only about seven years old, so in very good condition. It is especially quiet inside the rooms—we asked for 3rd floor. The beds are comfortable. The lighting within the rooms is excellent… If y... read complete review

Everything went really great. I was not nervous, I was actually really expectant and excited to hear their "yes".
MEDICAL EXAM----1st day
The first day, (medical exam) I went with my aunt who lives in CJ (she also hosted me) and there were some guys directing traffic...they said we should go register at an office on the street next to us so we went. We went in, it was a small office and they asked for my papers. At first, everything seemed ok until this man started to tell me that I was did not have 1 paper. I thought to myself..."hmmm...I have everything"
He said that I needed to pay 221 dlls at the clinic and 150 dlls. to him. I said "Excuse me, but I do not remember a place where they mentioned those 150 dlls." He went on and on saying that I needed to pay, etc.
That is when I knew this guy was committing a fraud. I said that I would make some phone calls and left.
BE CAREFUL with that stuff. At first, it ... read complete review

Well our visa journey is almost over we started out the past March and now we're here. I am currently residing in the Quality Inn Hotel waiting for the waybill to be issued. Pretty nice service food is ok and well the down side is it has no laundry facility I found myself washing clothes in the sink...(bring extra socks) Our case was expedited because of educational and financial reasons. I called earlier this November to make an appointment which the number was provided with the Consulate letter Bring that with you. We arrived on November 20th .
Medical: on Friday, (very important and I can not emphasize this enough go straight to the medical building) which you have the appointment for don't stop and let people take you inside an office in front of the medical buildings. They were saying you need a ticket to go in we were taken in an office by random people saying we needed to check if something was missing I immediately told my husband we have all the things we needed... read complete review
