Everything was done in a timely manner, we got to Juarez 5 days before the interview to complete medical and biometrics appointments.
felt very good about the whole process while we were there, there are many places to eat in the area and for the time we spent there we felt very safe.

I was one of the last ones to go trough the interview process, the Embassy was packed but there were only like 20 K-1's waiting. Although it was an hour long wait and extremely nerve-wracking (as I saw a lot of people getting the yellow and pink letters).
The interview was extremely short, only 4 questions and I got my approval! I must say we got a ton of evidence and we've been together for 5 years plus a ton of visits and family photos.

My husband was given a slip of paper stating all documents were there and given a blue pass to go back the next interview process at 7:45 am. This is when everything went downhill. The officer asked for documents that were not included in the list of documents necessary. Example was asking for original divorce decree papers for the petitioner instead of the applicant and also the original birth certificate of the petitioner instead of the applicant and then asked for the Mexican passport for the petitioner who only has a US passport and when my husband tried to explain all this the officer would not reply to him and denied my children and there was nobody else we could speak to at the consulate in person or by phone. Thousands of dollars in airline fees and hotel reservations and ended up with nothing but a blue paper stating we needed to submit be mai... read complete review
