Don't go to the embassy too early, because the won't let you in and you will have to wait outside...literally outside in fresh air.
You will have to clear security in the embassy building, so don't take any phone or laptop with you because they are not allowed.
When I got there, i was the first one to enter, a girl by the window 1 checked my documents, i had to sign something, the lady was not very friendly, typical Lithuanian officer and then had to wait for the lady at the very last window to interview me. Yet next morning when I was on my way to the US embassy I received a call from consulate telling me I shouldn't come as my visa is not ready yet. The reason was that they didn't get an answer about my fingerprints from US so they couldn't process my documents. And they couldn't say if they will get it that day! They told me just to wait for they call. I had the most stressful day in all this visa journey - I didn't know if i should change date of my flight (if I still would be able to, as earlier that morning I already checked-in), I knew I would lose quite a bit of money because... read complete review
