Review Topic: K1 Visa

The process went very smoothly - everyone was very helpful and friendly. My fiancée had the wrong police certificate so we had to reschedule for September 12th . They kept the majority of documents we submitted so I am hoping all goes well in September. I have emailed the embassy numerous times and they are very easy to deal with and very kind and respond normally within 24 hours - max 48 hours .

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husbands interview was in Amman on April 24, 2013 at 7:30 am. He said he was the first one called to interview window, the man asked him for his papers, asked about 60 questions (which may have been an exaggeration) and then sent him for more questioning in Arabic. He answered all the questions easy enough, all of his papers were in order. After they said "Your approved, basically but still need to wait for AP" and gave him a link to check for updates. What we both don't understand is why does it need AP, he brought them both a clean police certificate, and intelligence paper, he has never been out of Jordan. What exactly is administrative processing for and why is it necessary? the paper he gave my husband doesn't specify a reason, just says "Mandatory Administrative Processing" and says it can be up to 5 months, if longer call. The only other thing is that my husband mentioned that the interviewer was being kind od harsh in the way he questioned.

It was amazing experience, didnt last more than 1 and half hour, i went inside at 7:30, finished by 9:00.
I was interviewed by a man there, he is very nice and good man, he asked me several questions about my wife, her kids names and birthdates, my kid and where he gonna stay and whats the plan for him, Cant go into details so much but i would say its the best meeting, it was in 4th of March and now in 6th aramex called me to get some papers from them and i guess its the visa, it toke them 2 days to issue it, am so glad and excited.
