My husbands interview was in Amman on April 24, 2013 at 7:30 am. He said he was the first one called to interview window, the man asked him for his papers, asked about 60 questions (which may have been an exaggeration) and then sent him for more questioning in Arabic. He answered all the questions easy enough, all of his papers were in order. After they said "Your approved, basically but still need to wait for AP" and gave him a link to check for updates. What we both don't understand is why does it need AP, he brought them both a clean police certificate, and intelligence paper, he has never been out of Jordan. What exactly is administrative processing for and why is it necessary? the paper he gave my husband doesn't specify a reason, just says "Mandatory Administrative Processing" and says it can be up to 5 months, if longer call. The only other thing is that my husband mentioned that the interviewer was being kind od harsh in the way he questioned.
