My husband had an appointment on yesterday to bring in his DS-260 updated form and passport at 1pm got there was 2nd in line .he had to go back to the car because he had a small bottle of hands sanitizer in his pocket. It was only five people waiting for their interview. So my husband ended up being the last person of the day they called him up took his paperwork and passport when he got ready to pay his money they said it wasn't enough that the prices went up ,he ask them could he go outside to get it his sister were sitting outside but they said no that they would put him on the list to come back today the same time so hopefully everything is ok I haven't heard anything from him yet so he's turning in his passport DS-260 form and paying to file the form because it had expired .I cant wait until my husband gets to come here its been a very long process for us.on his first interview he was denied but we didn't give up .I've traveled back and forth to Jamaica over seven times but s... read complete review

I had a good experience. I arrived way too early and they told me to come back a half an hour before. I stood outside for a few minutes then got called inside. You are not allowed to take your cell phone or a huge bag with you past a certain point, so you will have to make arrangements to have someone keep them for you near the area. The embassy does not have anything to facilitate keeping bags or phones for you so you MUST plan for this.
I was in there for 50 minutes total and most of that was waiting. Submitting my documents took maybe 10 minutes and the interview was another 10 minutes. The questions were normal things anyone would know about their fiance. There is no need to study or freak out or panic as long as your relationship is genuine. The officers were friendly and approachable. There weren't a lot of people when I got there.
