Well I did not attend the Interview with my fiance so I can basically let you know what he told me. His interview was scheduled for 7am. He arrived there, went in the appropriate line . They called him for his fingerprints and asked if he wanted to turn in any more documents or proofs. He sat back down. . After a while my fiance was called again for his formal interview. My fiance was asked 1. How we met 2. when was the last time he saw me and how we spent our time together 3. They asked him to describe the ring he got me 4.Last they asked him to state his and my phone number. After that he was told he qualified for the visa to come to the U.S.. They staple a yellow paper to a copy of his passport. He was told that he has to pick up the visa on the 18th at Haiti messenger. MY Fiance was out of the embassy by 9:11am. Overall he said his experience was a good one.

It's been a while since I've entered any updates and I apologize. Just wanted to let you all know that the process has been very long for me, I was expecting this to just take a few months however, it took longer than I expected and I faced several obstacles along the way. My finance finally interviewed yesterday and was "not approved". He was asked…
1. When did we start dating?
2. When are the children coming?
3. Why was my last visit to Haiti in 2012?
In 2012 I lost my job but still managed to go to Haiti twice that year. In 2013 due to financial hardship and the issues we were having with his passport I decided not to go in order to cut back on expenses. He has 3 children and we filed for them as well. He was asked question #2 twice. I found that to be kind of odd, why would the immigration officer ask him the same question twice? My fiancé’s response to the question was because I am the one handling everything he and I agreed due to financia... read complete review

My fiance, his daughter (7-yrs) and I arrived at around 6am and were close to the front of the line. At 7am they began letting everyone into the embassy. We were initially called up to the window once inside and verified who we were and why we were there. We sat back down and around 30 minutes later we were called up again. This time it was for his fingerprints and to confirm his telephone number as well as mine. Then the waiting began. We were not allowed to bring anything to drink inside and around hour 3 could really have used a glass of water. Unfortunately none was available as the water cooler was empty. We were told it would be filled later. My fiance's daughter was asking for water again at hour 4-1/2. 4 5-gal bottles were brought to the cooler but not opened. We asked if we could get her some water but again were told no. Hour 5 rolls around and we were finally called to the window for the interview. About 30-seconds after talking, they asked me to have a seat with his dau... read complete review
