My husband had his interview today at 7:00 A.M. There are free lockers available but he didn't get one. Time for the interview.
Co: How did you meet your wife?
Hubby: In school (She's my high school sweetheart)
Co: How many times has she visited you?
Hubby: Over 7 times
Co: No previous marriages, no kids for both of you, right?
Hubby: Yes ma'am, that's right
Co: You had a black and white wedding, the pictures are beautiful. Hubby: Thank you
Co: (Looking at the evidence papers) She gave you a dog tag, show it to me
Hubby: (He always wears them) He put the tags against the glass window
Co: What does she do for a living?
Hubby: (He gave the right answer)
Co: Have a safe trip sir, go pick up your passport on the 8th of July at Haiti messenger and take this pamphlet also. (She also gave him all the paperwork that I sent in support of the relationship and an old I-864 package that I withdrew during... read complete review

My husband (fiance at the time) was not nervous at all that morning. He had a 9am appt, but was there since 6am. he said he was 3rd in line. He waited until they called him, and when he went in, the officer asked him a few questions, including if I had any children, or did he have any. Where he was going to be in the US, as well as the plans we made for the wedding, then the officer said congratulations and to pay the visa fee and have a great trip. My husband said the interview took maybe 10 minutes. We are so happy that this was such a great journey for us with out any major mishaps. We go married in Dec 2013, and now expecting our first baby. We are truly blessed.

Late post, I know...
Our appointment was for 7:00am and we got there around 6:30am. There were two lines that were the same lengths ( one was for visas and the other was for green cards, I think). We waited 15mins and were then let inside. We passed a security guard/ phone check, where you have to leave your phone with if you bring it; and then we went through metal detectors. We sat in the waiting room where a Haiti Messager attendant was directing people on which window to go to ( kinda reminded me of the DMV expect you don't have to take a number).
The 1st window we were sent to, after waiting 15mins, was a man asking us for more eevidence about our relationship; so we gave him more picuters and more call logs. He then told us to have a seat. 20mins later the HM attendant sent my fiance to another window where he had his fingerprints taken. About an hour later, we went up to the 3rd window for the actual interview.
We had a nice lady, s... read complete review

Our interview apt was at 7am. We got there at 6am. There was already a long line. ( I went to the interview with my fiance)
Once we got inside, through security we were placed in a waiting area.
We were called to a first window after a few hours. The lady was nice and verified all the stuff we had, she got our case packet from the back. She was impressed with all of the documents that we supplied. She told us to wait until we are called.
After an hour or so, we were called to another window. There my fiance did his finger print. We were told to have a seat until we were called again by a consulate.
After hours and hours of waiting, almost the last few people to be called we were approved.
