Our interview apt was at 7am. We got there at 6am. There was already a long line. ( I went to the interview with my fiance)
Once we got inside, through security we were placed in a waiting area.
We were called to a first window after a few hours. The lady was nice and verified all the stuff we had, she got our case packet from the back. She was impressed with all of the documents that we supplied. She told us to wait until we are called.
After an hour or so, we were called to another window. There my fiance did his finger print. We were told to have a seat until we were called again by a consulate.
After hours and hours of waiting, almost the last few people to be called we were approved.
***
Questions that was asked:
1) How did we meet
2) How do we stay in contact
3)Where do I work, how long have I worked there.
5)What language do we speak to communicate
6)Was I born in Haiti or US
7) what age did I leave Haiti.
8) who filed for me when I left Haiti.
9) what type of wedding are we going to have, civil or church
After my finance successfully answered all the questions, consulate said we are all set. He told us to go to the messenger window to get apt to come back and pick up Visa.
** My Fiance was suppose to pickup Visa on 3/26, but it was not ready. Still waiting for visa 10 days later after approval.**
Overall my experience was good, it was just a very long day, we go there at 6am and left almost 1pm. Long day and not much to do just sit in waiting area.
