Wife said interview went well. Officer asked her a few questions. How you met your husband, date of marriage, how many times he visited since the marriage. Does he support you, show documents. Her interview was at 9 am and finished at 11am.

So my husband arrived at the embassy at 5:30 a.m. for his 7:00 a.m. interview. He was finished by 1:15 p.m. The consular officer only asked my husband a few questions:
How and when did you and your wife meet? We were neighbors, etc...etc.

Why didn't your wife come to the interview? My husband presented the consular officer with a letter that I sent explaining why I couldn't come and it also included a synopsis of our relationship from the beginning to now. My husband thinks the letter is what helped because after the CO read my letter there weren't anymore questions. The consular officer said, "Man, this is real love." LOL.

What is your wife's date of birth? Apparently, there was a discrepancy on the application, so he had to go to the post office and get a copy of my birth certificate, to clear it up.

So those were all the questions that he asked my husband. He did not look at any of our photos, my letters and cards that I sent my h... read complete review

The interview itself was okay, not too many questions asked. I had approx 15-20lbs of paper work and 6 photo albums. I would like to remind fellow VJers to check the consulate's web site and follow their guides. I did that a million times and caught a form that was missing the day before. So I was able to correct. Also photo copy everything and VERY IMPORTANT! Get new B/certificates. I got for myself, fiancee and kids the Monday before an interview on Wednesday. They are crazy about that. NEW BIRTH CERTIFICATES.

I could not figure out how to edit my last entry so i am doing a new one because i wanted to include more information.
My husband' interview was scheduled for 7:30AM. He was finished by 1:00PM. He was asked 4 questions. SEe previous entry for questions. In the end, they requested a DNA test to prove that our daughter is his. They did not bother to look at all the evidence i organized. They also requested an updated copy of my birth certificate. After he was told we had to do a DNA test, i called the embassy and spoke to someone there, she was not very nice but informative. She told me where to find the information on DNA testing. It was located on the website. I used Genelex and it was expensive but fast. The kit was sent to Doctor' Daniels office from the US the next day and it was recieved that friday and my husband had to go to the embassy so an official could witness them taking his sample the following Tuesday. The whole DNA process took about 3 weeks but most of... read complete review
