Our interview was on 3/13/13. I decided to travel to Ghana to support him and for added proof since we were denied in 2010.

We arrived at 6:30 and waited in the car until we saw people running to get in line at 7am. We showed our passports and they let him go in at 7:30, but me and everyone else without an interview letter had to wait in another line until 8:30. They eventually let us in at 8am though.

After passing security, I went into the building where my fiance' was seated awaiting his name. I signed in at Window 12 and the officer asked if I had any questions or was I just waiting for my fiance's interview. I told her I was just waiting. After about an hour, he was called up for fingerprints and to turn in initial docs. They rejected his passport photos (as I had told him they would, thanks to VJ) and told him to get them re-done outside at the photoshop across the street. He came back with the new photos, paid the interview fee, and turned ... read complete review

Interviewed on 03/05/13. My wife said they were very nice. Only took about 30 minutes to get into interview. The lady asked about my brother and his family, where I lived, where my brother and his family lived. Asked what I did for a living, how long I have been working there. What did I do before? How did we meet? Wanted to see where we had been in constant communication so we provided emails from the time we met. The interview ended and my wife asked "what should I tell my husband?" The lady smiled and said "tell him you are approved and will pick up your visa on Friday." Visa was picked up on Friday and plane tickets are bought. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!

Wife had interview this morning at 7:00. She said the lady was very nice. Only asked her about my brother and his family. Nothing asked about us or me. My wife asked her at the end of the interview "What should I tell my husband?" Lady said "Tell him you are approved and you will pick up your visa Friday"
Also told her to not make any plans to leave until she actually has visa in her hand. Very exciting! Can't wait to pick her up at the airport. Best of luck to everyone else. It takes a while, but it will happen!
