Our interview was on 3/13/13. I decided to travel to Ghana to support him and for added proof since we were denied in 2010.

We arrived at 6:30 and waited in the car until we saw people running to get in line at 7am. We showed our passports and they let him go in at 7:30, but me and everyone else without an interview letter had to wait in another line until 8:30. They eventually let us in at 8am though.

After passing security, I went into the building where my fiance' was seated awaiting his name. I signed in at Window 12 and the officer asked if I had any questions or was I just waiting for my fiance's interview. I told her I was just waiting. After about an hour, he was called up for fingerprints and to turn in initial docs. They rejected his passport photos (as I had told him they would, thanks to VJ) and told him to get them re-done outside at the photoshop across the street. He came back with the new photos, paid the interview fee, and turned over our huge mountain of evidence.

I then sat with him, while we waited for them to call him/us for the interview. After another 40 minutes, a young man came to Window 6 holding our evidence. We watched him go through our evidence quickly. That made me nervous because I spent a lot of time putting all of it together. The CO then called my fiance up and asked him 3 questions:

How did you meet your fiancee'?
How many times has she come to Ghana?
How long did she stay (each visit)?

Upon the last question, he told the CO that I was right there and I was leaving on the 17th. The CO said okay and gave him a letter to come back on 3/27 with the new version of his birth certificate (I forgot to tell him about that from VJ). So on that date, hopefully they will approve him and he will get to the US at the end of April.

I would also note that they did not collect my I-134 Evidence of Financial Support. I had that plus bank letters, paystubs, w2's and tax transcripts. According to my fiance', they didn't even look at them. For that reason, I left them with him so that he could bring it on 3/27 just incase they mention it. I don't know why they would leave that out, being that it has been so vital on all other interviews here on VJ and is a requirement. HMMM...
