nenfinally back from Ghana and it didn't go well. To start my fiance prepped all the paperwork and labelled every pic and chat log. We went to the embassy and of course I was not allowed to come in. He said that when he was asked to present his document the staff was very impressed with our paperwork and told him so. He then met with the infamous KM he said she asked him the standard questions such as my name,my work schedule, occupation, high school, university, college, the names and ages and occupations of my parents and siblings and the names and ages of their children. She then asked about out wedding plans and why I wanted to get married at the courthouse in Santa Barbara versus a church wedding my fiance told her that's what I had wanted and he agreed with it. And that later we would do a more traditional ceremony. He said she stopped talking and just looked at him for 2 minutes and then she told him to sit down and spoke with another consular memebr and returned and said that sh... read complete review

We were hoping to have the good news by now before we shared our experience with you all , but it seems to be dragging we will just go ahead and share. I was in Ghana few weeks ago but had to leave due to my work schedule, so no I didn't go with my fiance. Yes we front loaded lots of evidence ( facetime, whatsapp, emails, Facebook, etc) We also had another set of evidence that he took with him. I will advise you make a photo album telling your story, ( like starting from when you met till now) The digital birth certificate I hear is the new birth certificate which allows the Embassy to authenticate it validity, so there's a high probability that if your fiance has the old one, he/she might be asked to provide the new one. These are some of the questions the CO asked:

Who filed for you?
Whats is your fiance's name?
How long have you known each other?
What is her occupation
Where does she work?
When did she start working at her present ... read complete review

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband.

Our interview was on 4/13. I went to the interview to attend but unfortunately the rules in ghana have changed, spouse is no longer allow in building. Before my husband when in building he asked the police officer if I could sit inside their security office because I wasn't from Ghana and wasn't familiar with my surroundings...officer said yes.

1) Two lines were formed around 7 am one for immigrant and one for non immigrant visa

2) Security Officer ask hubby for passport and interview letter

3) Husband went in around 7:30 came out around 11:30 (it took him about 4 hours)...the police officer said your husband is taking a long time that is a good sign...though we thought

4) Hubby said when he got in the building personnel ask for passport, interview letter, police report, medicals and 2014 tax return, original civil documents and evidence of rel... read complete review
