Our case took a total of 19 months to complete from start to finish...We received no rfe's, just got stuck at the slowest processing center of all NEBRASKA!!!!!
My husband arrived at his interview around 7 a.m. His interview was at 8:30 a.m! He said the atmosphere was pleasant and the CO was very nice. The CO had my husband's facebook page pulled up on the screen when he arrived at the window. He said the CO was looking at our photos and complimenting them. His interview took no longer than 10 minutes. My husband was asked 3 very easy questions:
1. Who filed for you? My wife Angela
2. Where do your wife live? Tennessee
3. Where do your wife work? Nissan
4. APPROVED
CO then gave hubby necessary info needed!
WE are so thankful the hard part is over

My fiancee got to the interview and she was denied because:
Her brother sent an invite for visitors last year and she was denied in June and we sent in the K-1 Petition a month after. They asked her if she was engaged then, then why is she going to visit her brother and not me. But she wanted to go because she is the God mother of his brothers baby and she had to go for the Christening.
The Councillor then went to ask another Councillor and came up and said she is ineligible at this moment. I dont even know if we can have a review or appeal because it said she is ineligible under 221(g)

My fiance arrived at the consulate at 6:20AM. At 7:00 AM he was asked to join the line. His appointment confirmation letter was checked outside before entering (be sure to write your ACC case number at the top).
Security checks your passport matches the confirmation letter. When you go inside there is a security checkpoint- to enter the embassy. When he entered he gave a copy of the D160 and had a seat. They then called his name to take fingerprints, passport photos, birth certificate and police report. He didn't have a copy of his birth certificate- so they made a copy of it and charged $1USD. At this point a woman asked: "Who filed for you?" and "Where are you from?".
He sat back down and was called back after 15 minutes- to a counter to talk to the counselor.
She asked:
What is the name of your fiance?
When and how did you meet?
Has she been married?
Does she have kids?
Do you have any wedding plans?
