My interview was at 11:45 and I was out of the embassy at 12:20. I spent more time waiting on the line than the interview itself. I brought all the documents asked (affidavit of support, proof of relationship, letter of intent to marry, etc.) and at the end they only asked for my birth certificate, DS-160, police record, medical record from my visit the previous day and pictures (US passport size), that's all. During the interview, that lasted about 10 minutes, he asked me 3 questions:
- Tell me about your relationship ;
- Where does your fiancé live ?
- Does your fiancé work ?
The person doing the interview was really nice, he congratulated me at the end and told me they'll send by mail my visa in 10 business days.

The entire process went very smoothly. My fiancé arrived around 11 am for his 11:30 appointment. I know they mention not to arrive too early, but since there is a line to get in and an entire security process, he ended up being right on time.
He was called to the counter shortly after 11:30. He had his paper verification with a French woman. He of course brought a lot of supplementary documents and forms that were not needed.
Then he went to a second line where he waited about 5 minutes to have the actual interview. He spoke with an American employee, where he was asked to swear an oath that all the information he was submitting was true and accurate. He went through the file and asked basic questions about my fiancé and then about us as a couple. The questions were not particularly detailed or deep, just general things about how we met, where, why we wanted to be in the US.
At the end, he said that his file has been accepted. We paid for expedited ... read complete review

The interview was very nice.
I am very happy to finally obtained my K1 visa. I sent them all forms I-864 and I-134 but the consular officer did not ask for anything. She just looked at the photos of engagement, took my police certificate, my birth certificate and his translation, and asked me where my fiance lives and how we met? What does she do? And when are we going to get married? I thank you all for your advice and good luck to those who are still in the race.

I was really stressed out and worried about the interview. Was in and out in 30 minutes. Very good organization, very nice staff.
I was only asked 3 questions:
-When did you meet/start dating your fiance ?
-Is he studying or working?
-Are you planning on living at this address in NC?
And "everything looks good to me, your visa is approved! You'll receive it in 5 to 10 days".
