Hany then sat down and his number was called after 17 minutes. He was called to window #12 to an egyptian lady about 25 years old. She informed Hany that if he was approved he would have to enter the USA before October 4,2011. She asked Hany a few questions, What is your name? Where do you work? Before we got in to the embassy we had to find a CIB bank to pay the interview fee at, the guard there will direct you to the CIB bank up the street in a hotel, but they don't accept payments for some reason (At least they told us that) so we had to get directions to one that did and find it.
Once that was taken care of we got in to the Embassy for our interview. Our appointment was at 2PM but we arrived early at around 10AM which was a good idea as you're going to be there for a few hours. I read previous reviews that the interview was done in a room, however this was not the case. Once we had entered we took a number and had to wait to be called to one of 14 windows where we were asked some questions and they took my fiancees passport and two photos. We then had to go pay the DHL fee along with some other consulate fees at a cashier window then we sat a bit more until we were called up again to be asked some other questions, then we were told our interview would be ne... read complete review

My fiancee's interview was today. I would say that the interview process was smooth and quick. She arrived only 30 minutes before the appointment. She gave the Egyptian lady her original birth certificate as requested. Then she waited for the interview was the consular.
From the very first minute till the end of the interview, the consular didn't even look at her face or see how she looks like. He was focusing on the file in front of him. She didn't hear his voice at all. She only heard the questions from the translator next to him. There was a gap like 3-4 minutes between every question. Like the interviewer will ask a question, the lady translates, my fiancees gives the answer. Then he looks in the papers infront of him for 3 minutes.
He only looked at her once, when he asked her if I was born in America, which I was not. I don't know why he looked at her on that particular question. Anyways, those are the questions that were asked.
How did you meet your ... read complete review
